How popular is The Crucible in Japan? I know plenty of Western stuff has made it into their popular culture, and the name "Salem" is known enough to evoke witch imagery even there. But the main point is, do they know (even vaguely) the story of the play and of the actual real-life Salem witch trials? Well anyways, this Abigail at least appears to be close to the age of the real one when the whole thing happened. I wonder if her cousin Betty will play a part in this...
